I hope you all enjoy the new updates as much as I do!   I’m writing this thinking…what is my favorite NEW element…but I’m at a loss!   I love everything…the subway tile…the painted cabinets…the rustic and much needed shelving.

When I started this project I had a MAJOR DIY Fail {read about it here} when I drove my SUV over one of the cabinet doors…but in the end I love the open shelving and the baskets are very handy for dumping aka hoarding!

The room is seriously BRIGHT now…which is what i was going for!  The wall color is Benjamin Moore Moonshine Grey…a favorite of mine, I also used this in my Kitchen and TV Room.   Love this color!

The one thing that I will be addressing is the shelving accessories…At this point I have DIY’d some paintings just to fill the space, but I would love to print up some black and white photos of the family…something more personal to look at since I spend so much time in here!

And of course the money shots…some Before and After’s for you! What project would be complete with sharing the contrast!   This is my favorite part about DIY’ing…

Thanks so much for checking out the New Room Reveal!   This project was completed in small parts over 2 months and like I said everything came in under $200.  It’s a great example of transforming a room by using what you have!  If I had endless time and money…sure I’d gut this baby; new floors, move the lighting, get new counters, appliances, sink…the works!   But there are so many other priorities…like the Master Bathroom!   I’d gut that baby in a second!!!
